I was watering the lawn a few minutes ago and heard a woosh. I looked up and this thing fell out of the sky and landed right next to me. Should I sell it? What the heck is it???

Here are some facts.  It looks lead so it could not have been that hot as lead melts at a low heat level. If it did fall from the sky as you claim, it would have gone more than 2 inches in your ground unless you have a yard of rock. Most likely a, angry neighbor that fishes a lot made it and threw it at you. Or someone mowing grass caught it and ended up your way.  This small you would not have head anything.  Nice try. Fake news.

There is lots of rock under my grass about 1"-3" down. And this thing only weighs about 1 ounce. So two inches was deep for it. No lead in it.

I posted here because I wanted to know if anyone had any idea what it is and if I should try and sell it. I do not need fame as I already got it with my Evil Cheese Ball, ( over 1000 views and 300 watchers,) about 2 years ago. ( on 3 day auction )

It was a cheese ball that came out of a giant plastic tub of cheese balls. I was eating them when I noticed that one of them had a hidious face. I have it locked in my safe as it runs amuck. I will try and post a picture of it later.
