Doesn't surprise me, either. With an open system like eBay, it was pretty much bound to happen, human nature being what it is.

heh, why should she be out of pocket anything? Steal the stuff, then steal the postage. If you're gonna be a thief, might as well be a thorough one Smiley Frustrated

When Wal-mart used to not require a receipt for return, shoplifters would steal from them and return for cash SMH.

I remember a documentary years ago about rings (called boosters) that would literally sweep shelves clear of small items in drugstores.  They would go in with big shopping bag/purses (lined to avoid door alarms?) and go down the shelves pushing everything into the bags.  It showed a store with aisles of almost empty shelves after a ring of them passed through.

 

And it went on eBay.
