I Recently Sold A Pair Of Shoes That Were Automatically Sent To The Authenticators. I Was Notified They Did Not Pass As Authentic Because The Box Was Damaged. I Can Handle That With No Problem. When I Finally Got Them Back I Opened The Box And Inspected To Make Sure I Got The Same Shoes Back That I Sent And Discovered The Sole Of 1 Shoe Was Damaged. I Have Enclosed Photos Of Before And After. I Have No Problem Having The Shoes Re Authenticated But What Can I Do About The Loss I'll Receive Because Of No Fault Of My Own. These Shoes Were In Great Shape And Were Sound In Every Way And Still Are Except Where They Tore Off One Of The Tips. By The Way I Didn't Offer The Original Box Because I Didn't Have It. The First Photo Was The Original In The Listing. Please Advise. ThanksOriginally

I don't know why people feel the need to capitalize every letter of every word..always wondered why..that being said, your post is too hard to read with that wordage..
Maybe others can decipher your post better.

Is that what they're called tips, I always called them nubbins. I do see one missing but where is it in reference to the listing photo as the shoes are right side up? I don't know what you can do at this point, been hearing a lot of problems with this program.

I don't know if you have any resource but other sellers have complained about authenticators "returning different shoes" to them.

@fabulousfindsplus
So it failed due to a damaged box that was not sent in the first place? and shoes returned damaged?
I think your best bet is to contact these people. Regular customer service is only allowed to say something in order of "we have to go by what the authenticator says"..(.even if they are wrong). Good luck:

I get that the "nubbin" is missing.
I cannot track exactly what you are calling the "before pix" and the after pix? Which one is the exact "before pix of the nubbin of the show upside down"?

Well it was said you box was damaged: seems a bit more damage done: may have been a packing and shipper problem...

The yellow tag says:
"We're returning this item because
our authentication partner found
it to be significantly different from
the listing description"
That doesn't say anything about a box, so I'm not sure where that came from. There's no mention of a box in the description, or in the photos in the listing. Did it say something about the box when you scanned the QR code? What exactly did it say?
I wonder if the tip (or nubbin) might have been loose, or partially torn off, when the authenticator inspected them, and the shoes were considered to be not as described because of that.

Boy it's not that hard. The first couple photos show shoes with all those tabs intact. The rest show shoes with one missing a nub. They look like somebody wore them a few times too, but maybe they were like that before.

Recommend you ask the authenticator to initiate a damaged goods insurance claim for the shoes that were damaged while in their care.

Totally agree on the capitalization of every word! I struggle to read a post like that. I made it through almost half-way before I gave up. Must be a nightmare to type as well. There are several other posters who do this. I just can’t understand the point🤔

Just Pretend It's An Accent. Easy!

Guess ebay needs to initiate "item not as described" claims on these authentication programs when they return to the seller. The authenticators should be required to be sure the items matches the sellers photos before shipping them either back to seller or forwarding to buyer. What the OP has experienced is why these programs mean well, but are flawed. Ebay needs to gain seller trust, just like they try to do with buyers.

my only question is why is there # "67" written on the backs of the shoes in perm marker?

It appears eBay is having a few issues with their authentication programs these days. I am not sure how you open a eBay case against the authentication program. I doubt this damage was caused by shipping so it probably happened at the authentication facility but my guess is eBay will claim they have no way to validate what you sent to the authentication facility when you originally shipped it. They tend to operate that way.
