eBay should not allow buyers to change shipping! If you don’t like the terms don’t buy it!

I...
didn't think that WAS allowed.
...or doable.

Buyers CANNOT change shipping. What's advertised in your listing is all they can expect.

Buyers do not change shipping.
How was your buyer allowed to do this?

You are mistaken.
Buyers can’t change the shipping a seller has set up in a listing.
Or are you saying a buyer was trying to negotiate the shipping you charged….big difference.
If you don’t want to haggle on shipping charges just say no and block the buyer…simple solution.

Hi @ryan020
In 10 years of Selling Buyers have only been able to select the shipping method that I offer. Some have messaged and asked for different shipping but other than a very few exceptions I have declined. I used FedEx on some shipments until they overcharged me with no explanations ... dropped them like a rock and never looked back. I use USPS exclusively.
On ESE shipping, like you use for collector cards, can only be used based on card price. Shipping protection only covers an individual card up to $ 20 and $ 50 on combined sales. Here's the Help page:
If a card bids up on an auction to say $ 75 then it pays to use USPS Ground advantage for the insurance protection. I don't sell cards so I don't know if a card bids up over $ 20 it eBay defaults to a different shipping method instead of ESE?

@ryan020 You are correct; they should not; and because you said it, they DO NOT allow buyers to do that!
Actually, ebay has NEVER allowed a 'buyer to change shipping'.
Your shipping is a mess; some items are $4+ and some of the EXACT same type items are $1.29
So, FIX YOUR LISTINGS!...............and you won't have that problem anymore.

WHAT????? I'll take a piece but prefer ham and pineapple, you can toss the pepperoni in the trash like mini-Frisbees.
