I called ebay earlier. I asked them what is the policy for shipping products from venues such as walmart, target, home depot, and lowes.
Ok, so ebay rep doesn't quite have the answer and she said contact walmart. so, I am not going to get mad not because the rep wants to do their job. There is enough tension in this world going on.
Bigger issue is walmart.
Maybe someone has a link I can take a look at. One topic I had was flavored water, now its pistachios and I found the specific ones I need. Except I buy them and bring back to get packaged and ship with the shipping I have and not pitney bowes.
Does walmart have specific data or does walmart specifically state in their policy that as long as that reseller has they can. Can anyone answer that one?
I understand sellers of all want to use this platform which is cool, ups and downs and pros and cons.
If the product is wrong, then what. Thank you for reading this and hopefully someone may have an answer.

This is one of those rare cases where the rep saying they don't have an answer for you is probably actually accurate.

It's called drop shipping and whether it is permitted or not depends on how you are doing it. Read the following and see where you fall. Even if it is within policy it is a risky practice and most drop shippers do not last long before their accounts are suspended for performance shortfalls.

If you are drop-shipping from a retailer, rather than a wholesale supplier, it is probably against the rules.

That's not drop-shipping; it's retail arbitrage. Drop-shipping is an contractual arrangement with a wholesaler for them to ship your sold items directly to your buyers. eBay does allow true drop-shipping that way, although I don't think many people recommend it as a business practice, as you're on the hook for any accidents or mistakes by your drop-shipper, and you're also competing price-wise with every other seller who's contracted with the same drop-shipper and is trying to sell the same items you are.
Retail arbitrage is selling something you don't have, then rushing around to buy it at retail from whoever is offering it once you have a buyer of your own. Walmart does not offer wholesale drop-shipping services, and eBay does not permit retail arbitrage.

I was referring to this portion of the eBay policy on drop-shipping:
However, listing an item on eBay and then purchasing the item from another retailer or marketplace that ships directly to your customer is not allowed on eBay.

Okay, if you are going to the retailer (doesn't matter who), purchasing the items and THEN listing the items for sale, it's fine. You have the items IN HAND, and you are shipping them. Perfectly fine with Ebay and whatever retailer you are buying from. Once you buy the item from them, you can do whatever you want with it - use it, sell it, set it on fire - the store you buy from doesn't care.
If you are listing things before you have actually purchased them, you can't do that, not by Ebay's rules.

Thank you, that is one of the answers I was looking for. I called fed ex and yes it is walmart. like , why can't resellers just buy the **bleep** product from these companies and then ship where they are at .

I told ebay, exception, the reseller can't sell pistachios, water, they can sell other things. I know what dropshipping is, I have read about it. walmart says the reseller has to be a merchant, someone who signed up. But the problem is these companies don't have the ai software that my friend does.

you're both correct I totally understand where you're coming from. So, you're saying this reseller can get kicked off because they listened to the wrong people. **bleep** shame but oh well.

I agree with you. so, is this reseller that I paid for allowed to do his deed. The only communication was that he said here is the tracking and fed ex did verify the package is from walmart.

Reseller? You're not buying the items yourself? You are paying someone else to do it? Sounds like you've gotten caught up in some sort of sketchy reshipping con game.
I work at a Walmart Neighborhood Market. That exact bag of pistachios sells for $11.96 at my store. You can also order them direct from Walmart, free shipping if you order $35+. You have them listed for a $22 auction start with $10.65 shipping. I don't expect you'll be getting any bids...just sayin'.

Why can't they? They can.
Why don't they? Because in many cases the item is only available online and is not stocked at their local store, and that delay would cause them issues.

Thanks for your interests. I sell on other ecommerce platforms. This helps build trusts and avoids misunderstandings.
Working with my ecommerce sites gives better competitive market value, shows customers of what i can do by offering better.
The difference is my shipping is faster and way better with ai and algrithm that I have that more people will be on board with. The fed ex site is now telling me a day after which means that the companies utilize it isn't doing and this can have a major effect on customers.
