I called ebay earlier. I asked them what is the policy for shipping products from venues such as walmart, target, home depot, and lowes.

Ok, so ebay rep doesn't quite have the answer and she said contact walmart. so, I am not going to get mad not because the rep wants to do their job. There is enough tension in this world going on.

Bigger issue is walmart.

Maybe someone has a link I can take a look at. One topic I had was flavored water, now its pistachios and I found the specific ones I need. Except I buy them and bring back to get packaged and ship with the shipping I have and not pitney bowes.

Does walmart have specific data or does walmart specifically state in their policy that as long as that reseller has they can. Can anyone answer that one?

I understand sellers of all want to use this platform which is cool, ups and downs and pros and cons.

If the product is wrong, then what. Thank you for reading this and hopefully someone may have an answer.

Working and reselling 2 different things. I can do what I want, remember that. Old saying anyone can beat my price no one can beat my value. That shipping amt is correct. It takes 1.75 days to get to the destination. have a stupendous day.

Exactly right and retail arbitrage is kind of shady, imo, and against ebay policy. Big difference to those that drop ship, and do it right.

Are you selling on both ebay and Walmart marketplaces? Ebay won't know any of the Walmart policies; you would have to contact Walmart.

Here's the ebay policy on selling items that you don't have in stock. Dropshipping is allowed. Purchasing from vendors, to complete your order, is not.

First, what's the difference of where I get them from. The $10.65 is nearest and it might be a little bit lower because I have a shipping algorithm that gets to the buyer in under 2 days. Why can't I sell them for more? You do know there are fees, correct. Are you that type of reseller as well that believes in only price. Anyone can beat my price no one can beat my value. you sound like what I had to deal with when I used to be on social platforms like facebook because common folks are like that.

It's not a matter of where you get them from, but when. If you buy them yourself (for whatever price) and then sell them as yours, shipping them to your buyer, no problem. Where you run afoul of eBay rules is when you sell products you don't have, then rush to buy them at retail and ship them from that retailer to your buyer.

I opened the package that was walmart of course, wrong item. these resellers need to stop doing what they're doing. Either do it right or don't sell on the platform no more. Now, the rep woman on the phone doesn't know what to do. I am keeping my cool. Heck I will resell and earn my money back.

Sometimes it is easier to post in your native language and use a translation service to change it to English

You are leaving out parts of speech that are important in English, but may not exist in other languages.

That being said.

If you are advertising products on eBay that you do not own that is "retail arbitrage" and eBay does not allow it.

It does not matter why. This is eBay's site, not yours. You are renting here.

If you are advertising products for which you have a contracted supplier, that is "dropshipping" and is allowed on eBay.

The fun begins when your customer receives a invoice inside the package with the cost you paid for said product that you had shipped to your customer. Then customer sees your mark up. Then your feedback crashes and burns.

It doesn't really matter where you get them from as long as you are within the drop shipping rules. Even then most drop shippers run into issues when they do not actually have the item in their possession and where ever they are getting it from doesn't have it in stock, takes too long to ship, items is not received or received damaged. Since you are the seller the responsibility for dealing with those returns, replacements...... falls on you and the impacts are to your metrics not the supplier. Returns are going to come back to you not the supplier.

Problems like this is why most drop shippers do not last too long if they don't actually possess the items.

Thanks for your interests. I sell on other ecommerce platforms. This helps build trusts and avoids misunderstandings. That is probably a good thing just in case your eBay account gets suspended.

Working with my ecommerce sites gives better competitive market value, shows customers of what i can do by offering better.

The difference is my shipping is faster and way better with ai and algrithm that I have that more people will be on board with. The fed ex site is now telling me a day after which means that the companies utilize it isn't doing and this can have a major effect on customers. Any carrier can deliver the next day all you have to do is be willing to pay the cost for it. Not sure what you mean by AI and algrithm but I suspect it has nothing to do with how fast the trucks or the carriers employees move.

In as far as Walmart corporate policy they are not in the business of supplying resellers merchandise. Simply need call Walmart regional HQ and they'll tell you that. Retail Arbitrage is not illegal however depending on items purchased any warranties implied may be voided by the manufacturer and complaint be it from manufacturer, distributor, authorized reseller eBay Trust & Safety or Vero can take issue with receipt or not should they so determine. You'll see in these forums at times people saying eBay restricted their account and won't lift it even provided receipts.

Walmart can request anyone leave the store, if anyone voices back issue security can detain them awaiting police. I've saw this happen at Walmart several times, Target and BestBuy over years, the last time a women with a shopping cart loaded with clearance items.

Police can then escort from the store and request any data they deem pertinent such as ID. Depending on the municipality as the officer call is logged code enforcement might pick up on it just as they might if someone has trash all over their backyard.

I think this is the more current definition and how I have viewed it. Nothing wrong with that. If you look up the definition it is buying and selling at the same time. I have never heard it used in any other context until this thread.

If you received the wrong item, file an INAD, no need to contact CS.

Go to your purchase history and click return item and select, the item doesn't match the description as the reason.
The seller will have 3 days to accept the return and pay return shipping or refund without returning.
If they don't, return to the case on day 4 and ask Ebay to step in.
