Hello everyone!

I have a buyer who wants to make an offer on an item but they keep getting a message that I don’t ship to Australia?

I don’t have Australia blocked in my settings and also have the Global Shipping program enabled for the item.

How do I fix it?

That message does not say you don't ship to Australia, it says the item in question can't be shipped. Many countries don't allow gold or silver jewelry to be sent in or have strict regulations for importing them.

But it also says that the seller (me) has specified that this item can’t be shipped to australian even though i have the global shipping program enabled on this item?

If you only offer GSP shipping, and the item can't be shipped GSP to Australia, then that's your decision not to allow shipping to Australia.

I see that some of your items do have GSP shipping, but Australia was not included in the countries for the ones I viewed. It's probably because of the import restrictions. This is one of the advantages of GSP shipping; the seller doesn't have to be concerned about import restrictions.

I tested a couple of items - Australia shows in the permissible countries, and GSP is calculating what look like the right shipping fees and customs and import expenses. Honestly, if the item in question is one of your big ticket items, I'd be somewhat worried about a buyer trying to buy outside of the system that you have chosen.

Hold on! Went to check one your most expensive items - shows that only the U.S. is an available option.

I am in New Zealand and it is amazing how many items listed on eBay say they will not ship to New Zealand but the sellers have no idea why that is the case. People are missing out on a lot of sales.
