Has anyone been contacted by MacroPoint? We sold a large item and the buyer hasn’t paid nor responded to us but we received a text to send our address to MacroPoint

Tell them no, they have to pay first and you only ship to the address listed in PayPal and eBay using the shipping method specified in the listing.  No exceptions.

That's what I was thinking, but I don't know how the eBay motors side works.

If it has a title ebay won't get involved,but paypal doesn't care...

Thanks that’s what we were thinking. First time selling on EBay Motors. We did specify cash at pick up, but the buyer won’t communicate with us.

I looked at the listing and you've got a link in it to contact you to arrange shipping and are requesting a $100.00 paypal advance if purchased both real bad moves if you're wanting to not lose your cash and motorcycle...

Paypal buyer protection does not cover motorized vehicles.

Below is the link that explains how fo sell your vehicle thru Ebay Motors. The rules there are different than the dot com site. Good luck.

If the buyer doesn't get in touch, you can file an unpaid item on Oct. 16 to get the $60 fee credit, and then realist with total due in cash on pickup.

Bids on vehicles are non-binding, making a vehicle listing more of an introduction than a sale. You can sell the vehicle elsewhere while it is listed on eBay.

I wasn't aware that paypal ate CC chargebacks on motors transaction they must have changed their policys....

Thank You! That was so helpful. We have already opened unpaid item case. We can close it on th 16th. We will take your suggestions when we relist.

not sure we will try EBay Motors again.
