I have started offering a repair / upgrade service at the suggestion of a buyer.
I have set up a ‘repair/upgrade with return shipping’ listing and a two-week handling time. This seems to have worked for the first order and I have one happy customer.
However she did have to pay a bit of money to ship the item to me.
Is there a way I can streamline the process and offer some sort of discounted shipping (buyer as return address, me as destination address) via eBay to the buyer who wishes to send in items to me?
I like this business because I have no inventory risk. Although I know it flies in the face of eBay not usually being a platform for ‘services’.
