That's the best answer. A couple months ago I was working on a listing got to the shipping part and wanted to use a small flat rate box. So I clicked on change shipping method and it wasn't there. There were measurements and a weight already entered but I didn't think that mattered but I thought I'd change them all to zero and see what happens that didn't work either. Then it dawned on me to enter dimensions closer to the size of the small flat rate box and bingo there it was.
The nice thing about Pirate Ship is I simply select USPS Flat Rate Packing and hit the See Rates Button and I get them all.
@dbfolks166mt can you help me with your shipping info you provided in your post. thank you for providing the exact ship with the cost of each box. Thrilled you posted this issue. I haven't been able to use one of my favorite options of priority flat rate shipping. My priority flat rate boxes are no longer available on my shipping options. Why did eBay change this? are you using pirate ship? I have tried to type in my box sizes for priority with no results. I haven't been able to ship flat rate for over 4 months or more. I miss the older days of ebay shipping screen. more user friendly with options before purchase. I struggle with this ship system. thank you for your help :)))
I do use pirate ship to purchase and print my labels then upload the tracking number to the eBay order. However, I do have to setup the listing with the weight and dim's of the package as well as identify the shipping service and class. Following is an example of an active listing I currently have where the shipping is through USPS using a medium flat rate box.
I can also add other carriers and classes of mail using the add feature.
When I go to actually create the label in Pirate Ship I just click on the drop down arrow for the type of shipping and it is pretty easy to locate the USPS flat rate type packages.
