So when I go to print a shipping label for an order, it says I do not have enough money in my pending transactions, because it transferred it to my bank account already. I tried linking a debit card and already have a bank account linked. I attempted to designate both under payment options on different tries for selling costs, but when purchasing the label it only gives me the option to choose pending transactions or Paypal as payment methods. I no longer have a Paypal associated with my account so I went back to Payment options to add a paypal, but when I go to add a method it shows bank account, card, or paypal, but the paypal option is grayed out will not let me choose it. I have no idea what to do at this point to pay for a shipping label?

Money for shipping label should have been "held back" by EBAY (unless your item said "free shipping"). In that case, EBAY does NOT hold back money for your label. I always use PayPal in those cases.

Since you don't have PayPal and your MP account doesn't have enough money to purchase label...the only option you have is to purchase label at post office.

You could also call EBAY customer service. Go to HELP, MANAGED PAYMENTS (select problem) and go to bottom of page and REQUEST CALLBACK (enter your phone#).

For me it just prints out the label and my balance goes negative.

It only stays negative until i make my next sale.

You can always open a free account on PirateShip and purchase your labels there. Just be sure to upload the tracking number. They offer the same discount as eBay.

You can actually link your PirateShip account to eBay and they'll upload the tracking number automatically.

I really like PirateShip. They offer cubic and "box in a bag" shipping which is sometimes almost have of what Ebay charges for Priority mail.

I think I accidentally discovered this was an issue when I had a customer cancel a transaction shortly after payment when I first enrolled in MP. Instead of the funds coming from pending(the actual transaction) the refund came from my bank account.

Now when I check settings as per your description the option for paypal is greyed out and not available as a backup option. EVERY optional charge comes straight from my bank account. The agents I spoke to went back and forth saying that it should come from pending and still saying that now. Ticket was recently opened but crickets...to date.

To confuse things even more as per @caldreamer s post when eBay credited me for the refund pulled from bank they shorted the shipping even though postage was never created with expectations I would request a void for the label. Can you say messy??

PS. My labels are always created with Shippo. I've yet to use eBay Labels. Something eBay should be able to see.

I do not think you have to go into your eBay account and link your PayPal account to your eBay account in order to use it for shipping labels. I think you do it right from teh shipping label screen.

I think you just open the shipping label, switch it from pending payouts to paypal, and just pay wity paypal on the spot.

If I recall correctly, it asked whether I wanted to save the paypal account information to use for future labels or not.
