Again today I listed a fraction of the items I could have because the listing tool doesn't work. It won't populate the shipping options in the listing form. I just now gave up after refreshing the same listing forty times and not getting shipping options. Doesn't work in Chrome. Doesn't work in Firefox. Doesn't work after restarting. Doesn't work after updates. Doesn't work. Just doesn't work. In the middle of the workday. Thousands of sellers cannot list items. Hundreds of thousands of loss. Anyone know the chief technology officers name? He is apparently a dope.
I think this is like three weeks now of regular problems each and every day. For decades now they push changes that don't work and cause problems. At first maybe an honest mistake, going on years maybe they are just stupid, but decades!? Decades seems intentional and malicious. Why do they change things in the middle of the weekdays!?
This listing tool problem is worse than if buyers couldn't login. It doesn't matter if its working 100% for buyers. Buyers cannot buy items that are not listed. The loss this causes to all of us including ebay can never be calculated but it is real and it is big. Why can they not get competent people?
Well my workday is done at 3pm. I could list items for another 3 hours if the listing tool worked. I guess I will work on my other platform for a while before I quit for the day.

This is exactly why I was using the old listing tool until the last day. I knew the new one wouldn't work. And wouldya looky here. It doesn't work. New things at eBay never work.

I just listed a couple items in Entertainment Memorabilia categories with the new tool and it went smoothly. But they were all done using "Sell Similar" and I have been using business policies for years, so that may have helped.
And I'm probably in the minority, but I actually like the new Item Specifics interface better.
