Has everyone seen the shipping instructions now posted on every listing?, I think we have had some bad sellers not packing properly or shipping on time & eBay is reminding everyone about the basic's of shipping properly., I know I have had some Horrific packages arrive in the past 6 months & I don't even orders very much anymore,Terrible packing, & I had to send back most of them, I also have a calendar coming supposedly by ground advantage that was shipped almost 2 weeks ago, I contacted the seller & all he responded was it's in route, No tracking was placed on the order, Why I don't know such a simple thing to do & provides some peace of mind for both buyer & seller. If this is a typical way that sellers are handling things, This is not a Good experience for sellers & reflects back on all of us.

Seen it …..just another thing to ignore.
You have MBG if you don’t receive your item….but you know that already.

The sellers who need that reminder are unlikely to read it.

Nice (sarcasm inserted here) that this was added and the carrier scan is gone.
I liked that carrier scan next to the shipped order.
It gave me somewhat a sense of relief for a moment anyway.

I did notice on Sunday and mentioned it to the RVA Seller Circle. I onboard a lot of new sellers so this information is super helpful to them as shipping makes them super nervous. Btw, love that the eBay standard envelope dimensions are included.
I don't mind it. We as sellers need to remember to pack our orders with love and care not just get them out the door fast. #ebaybeabetterseller
I also noticed now the red small print on our seller hub overview when orders need to go out under 24 hours.

I have shipped 28,000 packages life time and never had a buyer file a claim for damage. I mostly use 6x4x2 inch boxes which is the perfect size for labels.
My most recent purchase was a remote control that arrived in a mylar bag. No retail package or even bubble wrap to cushion it. It could have been stepped on, dropped or taken a direct hit from a 70 LB Priority Mail package.
I am reluctant to buy gifts on eBay. The merchandise itself is okay, but the retail package is often smashed in bubble bags.

You're right that all these bad packers and shippers reflect on all of us.
The only way it will change is if these offenders get tons of negative FB, and maybe not even then.

@meme6253, Ground Advantage has tracking automatically, right?
Just FYI, if you sign up for Informed Delivery, then any mail packages with tracking that are addressed to your shipping address will pop into your Informed Delivery tab once the label is purchased. So you will know the tracking number, and that it was sent to the correct address, even if the seller doesn't upload the tracking number.
Even if the seller uses third-party shipping, and USPS is only going to handle the final delivery, they still show up automatically when the label is purchased.
I find it very useful.

I would say one third.

Exactly no rush is needed, It only takes slightly longer to do it properly!

I once had an order go to New York & it looked like a smashed ball when it got there, The customer sent me photos, But when he opened it the Glass Mug was perfectly fine!, I know how to pack very well, I have never had an actual damaged from shipping Case.
