Hi All:
A buyer from England purchased an item even though listing states no international sales. She has, I think, realized this and emailed asking did I ship to her address & then sent another shortly later wanting an invoice w/ shipping charges so she could pay.
Although I don't ship Internationally I would give it a practice try with this buyer & item because I not getting any negative vibes from her. Disregarding the ebay Global Shipping Program, what is the cheapest, easiest, no hassle way to get the item to the buyer and still meet all requirements for tracking and delivery notification for a inexpensive watch weighing 7 ounces.
If too much hassle I will just reply back I don't ship internationally, cancel due to address problem, try and get any negative feedback issued removed, and relist.

Is that the same as USPS International, and can I just ship like domestic where you just print a label and drop it in the mail with no form and such to fill out. The cost given was $13.45, but that could be due to USPS recent price increase.

The customs form is integrated into the postage label.
Most of the time you want to edit the description field when creating the label so that the what shows is clear as to the contents.
For example "Women's Pair Vintage Leather FIRENZE Belts Medium ~ Black & Brown" should be changed to "leather belt"

Thanks! What about this special form PS Form 2976-E. I have to use it instead of the clear tape over the label?

I'm sending a sewing pattern to England today. Just using LetterPost International Air Mail.
Not bothering to track a $10 item.
Last week I shipped a $150 item to England, and used the Canadian equivalent of First Class International PACKAGE. The postal service gives me Confirmation of Delivery and Air Mail for speed.

The Harmonized Tariff Schedule is international and makes passing through customs much easier.
I keep a list in my daybook of the numbers I use most often.
Because I am in Canada, over 90% of my sales are international.
The shipping labels you print out will include most of the customs information needed. Just review them before actually printing.

If you print your labels online (eBay or elsewhere) there is only a single label for postage and the customs form. You can put all the clear tape over it that you want. The separate forms are only needed when buying postage at the counter or if using postage stamps.

Thanks for reminding me about duties, custom fees, and tariffs ... way to many ways for this sale to go As up quick. Better to cancel while I'm still on the right side of this transaction. Thanks all.

For an inexpensive watch, (the $10 one?), there won't be any customs fees due.
If you print your label through eBay, the "label" is the whole shooting match... customs form and postage. It self populates. It's easy. USPS First Class Int'l is a single form page (half-sheet). And your post office has the PS Form 2976-E which is just a plastic pouch, but I've taped them on and all is good.
This should be an easy transaction.
