Re: Share Listing

It may be just what you are calling it, but what is a "Shared Listing Bar"?  Do you mean the Promoted listings? Pics of other seller's listings.  If that is what you are referring to, there is no way for any seller to get rid of them.

Re: Share Listing

I'm wondering if this is a test of some sort? I don't see a blue "Share Listing" bar, just a small "share" text in the upper right of the View item page.

Could you explain a little more, or perhaps include a screen shot?

Re: Share Listing

On my Ebay Active page, there is now a Blue Oval after each listing that says Share Listing and gives me 8-10 options like Messenger, Facebook, Pininterest, etc. It's located at the same place where a Blue Oval would appear that would say Send Offer.

Re: Share Listing

In my list of listings where I might normally see "promote this listing", "send buyer an offer",  "add item specifics" (I may be paraphrasing some of the aforementioned... instead of having any of these ever single listing has a blue bar to share the listing.  When you click on it you're brought to a page where you can list your Facebook, Twitter, etc. url for promoting your items.

Re: Share Listing

I just checked my Active Listings in Seller Hub, and I'm not seeing this. The "edit" dropdown in the left hand column does have a "share Listing" option, which I guess opens the page you are talking about.

Are you in Seller Hub>Active Listings, or maybe My Ebay>Active Listings?

If you can provide a screen shot, it would help.

Well, unless you click on them they do nothing. So basically ignore them, just like you would ignore a hitchhiker on the side of the road or those blow up balloons at the car dealers.

Re: Share Listing

I tried uploading a screen shot 3 times and something goes wrong.  I'll give it another go!  Yes it is on my page of active listings.  BRB

Re: Share Listing

Can't upload:  "An Unexpected Error has occurred".  I'll check later to see if anyone has a magic wand to get rid of the big blue blobs.  Hoping it's just a test!

Re: Share Listing

I spoke with an 'agent' this am....there is NO option to get rid of the Blue 'Share Listing' Button. But he said that he's sending a 'request' for an option to 'opt out'. Thing is...the more of us that complain DIRECTLY to an agent, the more 'requests' will be sent and HOPEFULLY something will be done about it.
