Sent an offer and when buyer paid it didn't give them the discount

I sent an offer and the buyer purchased/paid a short while later but they were not given the discount. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

What happened is that instead of accepting your offer, the buyer did a BIN. (I've had it happen several times.)

I have sent random offers from within Seller Hub where it does not show who the buyer is and then the item sells at the original price. I was thinking it was a different buyer that purchased.

   Most likely the buyer pays the BIN price and assumes that the discount will be automatically entered by either you or eBay, instead of paying the amount on the "offer accepted" notice from you. This has happened to me a few times in the past, too.

   Just refund the difference.

Yes exactly. I have had the same happen quite often and just figured it was a different buyer since we can't see who the offers go to.  

This time the buyer sent me a screen shot of the offer so I know they were one of the ones who actually received the offer.

I guess I have had it happen before but have never had proof since I don't know who the offers went to. I have never had anyone say they didn't get the discount so I figured it was maybe just a coincidence and a different buyer.

This is the first time a buyer contacted me stating they didn't receive the discount (and sent a screenshot of the offer).
