I shipped the buyer a real Audemars Piguet watch. The watch has been delivered to them now they are claiming the watch is fake. This is a huge scam I am very worried I will lose out on my watch and money. The buyer is requesting to return item but I will not accept a fake watch when I sent them the real thing and lose out. What do I do in this situation??

If the buyer filed a return case against you as "not as described" then Ebay forces the return and the buyer must return the watch. Once received you must refund them. Inspect the watch when it's returned. The only way you would be scammed is if they send a different watch. If you feel it's real then get the watch back and sell it to someone else. If another person returns it claiming the same thing you might want to consider either getting it authenticated or not sell it on Ebay at all.

When the buyer returns the item and the postal scan happens they will be automatically refunded. very interesting because it shows you have the exact same watch for sale right now with the exact same pictures so maybe out sent out the fake one by mistake?

The watch is 100% real it has been authenticated already. The buyer received my real watch then sent photos of a fake watch which he claims I sent him.

you just ended the listing for the exact same watch a few minutes ago. So I can only assume the watch is in your possession and the customer must have gotten the fake one.

I sent the person an 100% authentic watch I posted the watch twice was just trying to get more views on it. The buyer is clearly trying to rip me off. What should I do??

There is nothing else you can do but accept the return and hope you get your item back.
In general, when eBay gets involved you may end up with them keeping the item and the money.
Even though you had your item authenticated somewhere, it didn't go thru eBay authentication which would have helped in this situation.

when you made this thread I went to your page and looked at your sale... but you also at that time had the exact same watch listed same exact pictures. It would be better for eBay just to ban your account since your 18000 dollar only sale of all time ended up being a fake watch.

If the buyer opened a return request you must respond to the return request with one of the options offered. For the dollar value I would suggest you offer a full refund upon the return of the item. Do not refund until you have the item back. Hopefully you get back the same item you sent. If you do not respond to the case after 4 days the buyer can ask eBay to step in. EBay will side with the buyer, fully refund them, charge you the final value fees and ding your account.
If you do not get back the watch you sent return to the forum and let us know that is what happened and you can get some advice on what options are open to you. Unfortunately scammers tend to target new sellers listing high dollar items. I am not sure what category you had the watch listed in but this should have automatically gone through the authentication process given the $18K selling price.

Funny when you look at the sold watch these are the category's it was listed under. So, it would never have been sent to be authenticated because it was listed in the wrong category. Being authenticated by someone not connected to eBay is not how works here.

It was sold in the anklet category to evade the authentication.

Well that's pretty much a red flag on the seller.
