Sending an invoice before buyer purchases items?

Hi, I’ve got a strange request that I don’t even know if it is possible to do.

A potential buyer wants to purchase 3 books, all seperate listings, from me and has asked me to send them an invoice for all three with combined shipping.

Since they havent actually bought any of the items yet, I didn’t think I could send them an invoice. (Like not even buy but not pay, they just sent a message asking for the books and an invoice.)

I told them that they could purchase all 3 and I would refund them the total saved from combined shipping, but they are insistent that I can just send them an invoice without them requiring anymore action.) I have no idea how to do this and don’t actually think it’s even possible because it sounds sketchy to just send random invoices like they are expecting, but I’m here to check with you guys about it.

Thanks!!

Nope. Can't do it. They can put the books in their cart and "request total" I believe. Sort of the same thing.

If the items are BIN with IPR, remove the IPR. Then tell the buyer to make the BIN purchases but don't pay yet. Then tell buyer to wait for you to send the combined invoice with reduced shipping.
