I think there might be an issue with the Send Invoice function. I have sent invoices on Auctions that ended and normally the file switches from the Send invoice link to the Awaiting payment link ... but it's not doing that ... so, that begs the question, are Buyers actually GETTING the invoices or not???

Your two sales look like they say awaiting payment, so I’m not sure what you’re not seeing.
Why do you need to send invoices in the first place? Doing this will change the date of the sale giving the buyer more time to pay or prolonging your time to cancel for non payment, plus eBay already sends payment reminders. I understand that there are times when a buyer requests a total so you would send them a invoice.

Given that the two listings in the screenshot are showing identical sale times, I assume that a combined invoice is intended there.
But that aside, I'm not sure if there is actually a problem here. All we're seeing is the default option being shown for the pulldown menu in the Actions column for each item, as selected by the page code, but that doesn't mean that an invoice didn't already get sent. It remains on display in case the seller wants to send another invoice later, perhaps, but otherwise it doesn't have to change its default option just because the seller already accessed one or more options of that menu (including the default option on display).
One other hazard of sending an unnecessary invoice is that it locks in your Shipping charge to that of the buyer's eBay address. If he wants it sent somewhere else and provides a different Ship-To: address with his payment, it could end up costing more to ship the item where he wants it to go.

@ebooksdiva The "Awaiting payment" is eBay boiler plate formatting, it's always there the "Send invoice" normally changes when once you click the blue Send invoice and then actually send the invoice and then that "Send invoice" would change to Awaiting payment too ... now it doesn't.
I have always sent the invoice the day the auction ends so the date does not change based on how I do it. I also do not use the automatic UPI setting, I do that manually because sometimes customers will ask before or after an auction for longer to pay so I work with them. I understand what you are saying but there are no issues with how I process auction transactions.

It's happening to me too. The invoices are going out if you are copied on them and they're in your mailbox. I combined one order last week and reduced shipping. It's showing "send invoice" but the shipping has been adjusted for what was put on the invoice.
I think this is a glitch. My buyers are paying their invoices (except the one from last week), so I would say they're getting them.

@a_c_green Yes, that is what I am wondering since the blue "Send invoice" is not changing to what it normally does once I use that link ...
Seller Hub has had issues lately with certain things NOT updating ... this may be just another item in Seller Hub having that issue.

@sin-n-dex Yes, one of the two customers already paid the other one hasn't but they are a (1) Feedback so I suspect they will be a slow payer or wind up being a UPI at some point (my account is NOT set for automatic Cancellations after 4 days). Glad somebody else noticed this and yes, we've seen several items in Seller Hub NOT updating for a period of time before being fixed ... there is a thread or two about those.

With all the fiddling around eBay has been doing is it any wonder there are glitches? This maybe be a glitch or a deliberate change.

@ebooksdiva If it's deliberate the only reason I can think of is that Sellers will keep Sending an invoice thinking it hasn't been sent or gotten through and extending the time the Buyer has to pay ... along with the 4 day Cancellation window. My money would be on a glitch since I have experienced other short term glitches with Seller Hub recently ... sad that this many years after the Seller Hub launch the program still has more than its share of issues ...

I'm trying to follow @mr_lincoln.
The black text "Awaiting payment" is the order status which will eventually (if the buyer pays) change to Ship by then Shipped then Delivered.
The blue hyperlink "send invoice" is one of the actions available in the drop-down menu.
You're saying that "send invoice" changes to "awaiting payment" so "awaiting payment" is listed twice - once in the status field and once as an action?
Awaiting payment is not an action and I have never once seen "send invoice" change to "awaiting payment." I've seen it stay on "send invoice" until the buyer pays, or in some cases it will change to "purchase shipping label" or "leave feedback" - but whatever it may change to has always been something actionable. Awaiting payment is not an action.
So I'm thinking maybe you typically see "send invoice" change after you send the invoice - but thinking it changes to "awaiting payment" is just one of those brain farts we all have from time to time?

@wastingtime101 When they fix it I will take a screen shot of what the blue Send invoice changes too ... Send invoice is not on the pull down menu when it is displayed per my screen shot ... nope, not on the list.

Here's a rather strange update ... I finally had an Auction end this morning that had the "Send invoice" link so I did that and per the pic below (green arrow) the Send invoice changed to the typical "Print packing slip and more" link. Then out of the blue a SECOND record of the transaction appeared (never happened before, ever) with "View order details" link (orange arrow). And no there were not two listings, it was one and the Transaction number AND eBay item number (red arrows) are identical.
Seller hub has some glitches that's for sure, this happens to be just one of them ... this is the first time EVER a 2nd transaction has appeared like this ... you just can't make this stuff up.

Is it possible the 6:42 timestamp is when the auction ended and the 6:56 timestamp is when you sent an invoice?
Swirling theories around my head that maybe it's some kind of lag we never see because it's usually instantaneous when eBay updates/replaces the order record after an invoice is sent.
Sometimes I see strange blips like that and they right themselves pretty quickly.

That might be. I notice that the total price is higher on the later entry, presumably due to locking in the Shipping amount as the cost to send to the buyer's eBay address. If he wants it sent elsewhere instead, the seller may have to eat the extra charges. I tried ZIP codes to opposite coasts on that listings, and both were significantly higher.
@mr_lincoln : You said, "I finally had an Auction end this morning that had the "Send invoice" link so I did that," but that's simply the page code picking one of the Action options to be the default choice showing. That doesn't mean that you are required to select it. You can ignore it.
I never recommend sending invoices unless there is a deliberate adjustment needed to the final cost, due to this little gotcha of cancelling out your Calculated Shipping functionality if you do so.

@wastingtime101 I think its just some weird glitch that will clear in time ... its strange for sure. I saw the time stamps too ... the Buyer actually bought a BIN item too so I will wind up combining things now that the auction is paid for.
