@damon_store

The best time to start a listing is when you have a legal way to be paid.

Have a great day.

Re: Sellling

Really depends how you sell and what you sell.

I sell by auction. Many of my items are of interest in the EU. I plan for them to end before 11pm over there so around 5pm East Coast time for listing. However, I also have customers in Japan so that's 5am for them. Can't please everyone if you sell globally.

That said, in the early days of eBay people said end Sunday evening more people at home ( of course not true now :). But people gave other examples such as if you sell railroad collectibles have them end early in the morning since people that collect those things and currently or formerly worked on the railroads are early risers. Not sure if that was true or mythology.

One good thing about eBay is that you can conduct experiments. You can list items at various times and see if their is any differential.

If you let people know what you are thinking of selling and what format, you might get some more specific advice,

Fixed Price. You can’t sell that way either. If eBay sets up with Payoneer for your country, then you’ll be able to sell.

Re: Sellling

Although your listings apparently show shipping from China, you are registered as being in Sri Lanka.

So you have found a way to get around the laws of your country, which state that Pay Pal cannot be used to receive funds in Sri Lanka?

Re: Sellling

There has been some pretty specific advice already.

The OP's country, Sri Lanka, will not allow him to accept Paypal for payment of his sales.

So he is listing his items as being shipped from China.

Actually I'm one of the people who bid that way. To make sure I actually win the item, instead of hoping and praying. I wish Ebay would ban the sniping program. Not a fan of bidding against a robot.

You hang around at the end to “make sure you win”? Wow. Winning without hanging around isn’t rocket science.

I get that for rare items one really has to have - I battled over a book on boxing history here once - but I just sold ordinary items and it really confused me.  Probably why I went to fixed price ASAP.
