I am trying to list an item with a fixed price on eBay, but I keep encountering an issue. Every time l attempt to set a fixed price and disable the auction option, I receive an error message stating that something is missing and I need to set a starting price for an auction. However, I want to list my item at a fixed price without having an auction. Can you please help me resolve this issue?

First I would start a new account to sell under.  You can use this one for personal purchases if you like.  Your account is not looking good starting out with a negative and there is no need to drag that along with you.  Just set up a new account.

When you set up the new account and follow all the things you need to do to do that, come on back and see if you have the same issue.

Please review the below link carefully. It contains very important information as to how Ebay needs to see the information you provide them on your account. It is likely easier to change your Ebay account to match your bank account if you find there to be a difference.

If this isn't something you don't want to do, I would check to make sure that all your selling information is properly recorded on your account.
