The account was only created yesterday so obviously 0 feedback. I will obviously send it tracked post for this price. Regardless of tracked or not there are red flags going off from the questions he is asking. he asked Am I in Ireland (I am and he is too looking at the address), how fast can i post, who am i using to post.
Does it sound likely this will be a scam of some kind?

He apparently sent you his shipping address in a message, correct?
I would report it to eBay, as that is not permitted, as it suggests he is looking to make a deal with you outside of the eBay platform... which would of course be potentially dangerous for you.
Now that I think about it... probably best to not respond and to block this individual.

No he did not give me any shipping address in messages. I can see it myself on his profile.

Here's some of what he said when I outright questioned him on being an account opened yesterday.
His reply
It’s fine don’t worry. I just never used eBay before and I’m moving into a house now and want to set up a game room want to get a few of the old games I use to play as a kid so there was no luck on Facebook marketplace place so I decided to try eBay.

Oh yeah completely understandable dw but do you not pay first on eBay? Like I send the money to send the game then? Just accept the offer. (He has now sent an offer to me)

Thanks for the clarification. I get a lot of first time eBayers and have never had a problem.
Having said that, computer games are highly vulnerable to scammers on this platform -- perhaps he intends to file a return and send his broken game back to you? It's entirely possible, and it's a risk you run.
Otherwise, I'd note that concludes his otherwise sane communication with you with the sentence:
"Just accept the offer."
Giving you a command?
In my book, that's unacceptable and I'd block him for that alone.
As you said initially, red flags.
Bravo to you for being so observant. regards

Every eBay transaction carries the risk of fraud. Your buyer will either scam you, or he won't.
Your best defense is to educate yourself about how eBay works and follow eBay rules and recommendations.

Advise the buyer ...
Buy the item via your Ebay listing
Pay for the item via your Ebay listing
You send to the address on the order
Not sure what the buyer's confusion is

Ok he has messaged me again .

One of your optional buyer requirements on your Buyer Management page is to restrict repeat sales to newbie buyers with less than (0-5) feedback within 10 days. That is, you cannot prevent someone with zero feedback from buying one item from you, but you can prevent them from buying more than one within 10 days if desired.
I would not say that this buyer is raising a huge red flag, but in the game categories you do have to contend with more than the usual number of scammers or kiddies, so the risks in general can be high anyway.

He could have that as a question. "Just accept the offer?"

Agreed... replies pecked in (or dictated) on a phone can sometimes be interpreted more than one way. Probably better to take the conversation as a whole, rather than individual replies, when you're trying to get a sense of whether the other party is a jerk, isn't fluent with English, or whatever...

I sold it in the end. Next day delivery. No feedback yet but he marked as delivered.
