Selling on eBay

Since the new format changes, I can no longer use the "Revise Item" or "Sell Similar Item" feature.  I called Ebay and they agreed they have a problem with their system and promised to correct.  Since they were in my account as I was demonstrating my listing problem, I can no longer post anything, even from scratch, effectively shutting me down.  This along with ridiculous fees and rising postage, Ebay is becoming a joke.  I noticed they even take a percentage cut out of the postage you receive from the buyer.

Sorry to hear you cannot use your account as you did before after they accessed it?

Try reaching out to e-Bay on social media and see if they can assist you.  Send them a private message and let them know what you are experiencing.  Good luck!!

My opinion is.. eBay has been testing the social.media scoring system that many websites are also testing.   Essentially shadow banning is in it's testing stages around the globe. The future will be based on how you act on the Internet..  words you say, a profile is created on your account which triggers suspensions.    If this ain't true.  Prove me wrong.

     If this happens it will probably just increase the number of accounts people have and the use of VPN's similar to the way the scammers utilize guest or multiple accounts and VPN's to hide their scamming processes on eBay as well as other sites.

     Were you using the app on your phone or operating from a desktop/laptop computer. It seems there have been a lot of postings about problems with the app since they made the most recent changes to the listing form which was supposed to standardize the form across the app and desktop/laptop function. 

     Obviously poor quality testing in their software design process but this is not a new issue for eBay.
