Selling, new listing or sell similar format....why did it change??

Yesterday I listed all morning and then by noon the whole New listing page format changed....for the worse. It takes 3 clicks to do what I could do with one click like auction/buy it now, shipping cost, you can't see the picture editing screen, item specifics have no dropdown like before. This is so much more time consuming....why??

Selling, new listing or sell similar format....why did it change??

I was able to switch back to the classic listing format a couple of days ago using those 3 dots, upper right had corner on the item listing page.  I'll find out if that's still working this morning.  I hated the new listing format because it's so time consuming compared to the old one and I left my feedback about it.  I use a laptop for all of my listings and will never use a phone app.

Selling, new listing or sell similar format....why did it change??

We have been forced in here since last week and have not listed anything since.  I contacted the CEO office and got a form type letter back saying ebay team has decided that the new tool is functioning as intended and is ready for main stream implementation. We should use it more to get used to it and of course continue to leave feedback.   Thanks ebay for ignoring our feedback for 18 months already while it was in beta.    I almost wish ebay would just do a press release saying that they really dont care what we think and not to waste our time. The time for feedback is in DEVELOPEMENT- not after you spent 3 years and millions of dollars developing a tool that everyone hates and denies 30 years of industry standard programming and web design rules.......no pops on a desktop and no extra clicks for what can be done in one, and 1 scrolling page tool is better than 2,  and never leave the page your on to input data into that page- thats the biggest flaw w/ the new tool. You cant even reference the main body of work when your in a phone app popup box so you have to click in and out to remember detail.      The problem is now ebay will spend years trying to patch this brand new programming up and make it usable for us, all the while losing sellers along the way.

Selling, new listing or sell similar format....why did it change??

Even during short spells when my internet was down due to hurricanes, etc. I would take my laptop somewhere with wifi.  OR if so much of Mobile had power outages that I had no choice but to use my phone, I would go to the full website on the internet (cell data) and make my listings there. Yes I'd have to pinch in and out but at least getting to stay on the same page was better than not.

And I'm not an anti-app purist mind you; I think it is fine for PASSIVE stuff like checking my account, checking over my listings, even shopping if I'm stuck sitting in a waiting room or something.  And I do love me some "CHING" notification sound, telling me I sold something.  But for creating listings, the app format is beyond stupid.  One way this is already guiding my decisions: while out sourcing yesterday, I found myself unconsciously drawn to things I could "sell similar" (as in not having to change many Item Specifics, let alone start a whole new listing with a category I don't already have anything in, therefore a fully blank sea of I.S.'s to fill in).  I'm still on 'Classic' listing but knowing I'll be involuntarily switched any day now, this narrowing of my business portfolio is how I'm "getting used to" this clusterF ahead of time.  All we should have to think about is 'how much profit might this item fetch?' 'How likely would a return be?' 'How hard/expensive would it be to ship?' NOT 'Do I really want the prolonged misery of listing it?'
