I've been on ebay since the year 2000 but some things I've not done or remember : ). I've just listed at
256000946264 a multiple TV parking passes listing. How does a buyer select? Do they just click a photo? Anyway if someone has time to look at listing. It was a bit confusing on the variations page. I don't know? At first there was a "select" above the quantity in the listing, then I had to add my own in order to continue.
Thank You

No, your variations listing is not set up correctly. You have to enter each choice, and the quantity available, for each different item. There should be a drop-down menu in which you have listed every different item that the buyer can choose from, it should be a list, not a comment "choose from the numbers..."
The drop-down list should have a separate entry for each design that you're offering, like this:

Thank You, Thank You
I'll give it a go : )

The question is in the variation section of listing format, it's so confusing. It's not letting me delete the "choose from" What do I put in "attributes" & what do I put in "options"? I put A Team in both but then at 5 it said I couldn't add anymore. I have 10 items. Very confusing
I'm going to end the listing and try a different browser and research. It shouldn't be this hard or confusing.

For Attribute you can probably use something like "Design" or "Pattern"
Then for Options you would have:
Helicopter #1
Helicopter #2
etc
Camo Light #8
Eagle #9
Camo Dark #10
Or however you'd like to name them.
For photos you would use attribute photos, you would not use default photos.
You will need to upload at least one default photo for the listing which is the main image shown in search.
Then under the attribute photos you would upload pics for each design. I suggest taking pics of the backs so you're showing buyers what they'll get and you'll have more than 1 pic for each pass.
Adding: The passes that are in different condition (like #10 is vastly different condition from #1) - I would create a separate listing for those with a different item condition and description.

Thank You,
I'll research some more later. I have other things to list. I've seen the select pull down in my wanderings. I thought it was simple to create a listing like that. Maybe mid week I'll get back to this.
Thank You for helping. Ebay has become something unfathomable. One has to click click click to open what should be evident. Many many years ago people said the "golden goose." At this point is the lead egg. lol

hi wastingtime101,
I'm trying to learn. I'm going to go to youtube & see if there is a video. I used TV Show # as the attribute and then # (number) (whatever show pass number) as the option but when I preview it each item is it's own "select." I don't know if that turns into just one "select" that becomes a dropdown.
I described that the backs of these are in super good condition. I have a total of 29 parking passes that I want to list. They are in excellent condition. Keeping track of the backs of in my lengthy description. This time buyers can trust me as the fronts are super. The ones that are different & not as good of condition in the higher numbers are more likely early early versions when the show first started. Are they worth more? I don't know. In listing these I'm ok with selling these at an OK price vs whatever. My plan was as some sold to lower the price on what was left. I've been selling at flea markets since 1989. The goal is to make a sale. Ebay has become so stagnant in making sales. It's so remarkable when I look vs history. It's not rocket science. If sellers aren't making sales, the site isn't making money.
So at this point, I'm so confused are only stores allowed to have a dropdown that is a list to choose from?
I'm kind of astonished there isn't a video of how to do this also.
Not to rant just, I'm a kind of common sense type. Hope I didn't ruffle any feathers : )

This is the eBay page:

This is a tutorial with screenshots created by a poster on this forum. The screenshots are from the old listing tool so there will be some slight differences, but it will give you the basic run down. You should be able to follow it.
