I received a offer to buy multiple items that I’m selling for one price and one price for shipping. I have never done this before, what is the best way to do this?

To sip together, I would normally ask the buyer to put the items in the shopping cart, and ask for a total from there….. but from what I’ve heard, the shopping cart doesn’t work for everyone.

I think you will first need to figure out if you can get everything into 1 box. If you can, then get dimensions and weight so you can enter it into the shipping page. Combine shipping on your selection and then it's self explanatory.

I have this happen quite often. I always tell them to use the shopping cart, pay and I refund back the shipping overage when I buy the label. I have yet to have a buyer complain. Even if they don't do the shopping cart option, as long as they use the same account and address, you can combine them in bulk shipping and do the same thing. The eBay combine shipping doesn't calculate shipping correctly as it adds every items individual shipping together instead of adding up the weights and then recalculating based on that. Most of my eBay customers understand that and are good with getting a refunded amount back once I get the actual total. Just make sure you select "shipping discount" as the reason for the refund so you don't get a metric ding.
I haven't had much luck with the invoice option. Buyers get confused with it, or at least the ones who buy my things do!

Another option is to create a private listing for the lot of items with the actual shipping price. Send the buyer a link to the listing along with the listing number (if the eBay bot decides to delete the link). When I do this I title the listing something like this "Private listing for XXXXXX for 4 shirts". Keep the title somewhat vague so it keeps the search algorithm from moving it to the top of the page. I've done this a few times when I get a bulk offer that I like to keep from changing all the prices and risk someone else sniping one of the items before the buyer gets it. The benefit of this is that if you have immediate pay turned on, the buyer has to pay right away instead of the typical wait time for a best offer.
