If you are a US seller, you will be paid in USD$.. International buyers will pay the currency conversion fees, but you will pay an additional 1.6% because they typically pay with a NON-US credit card or PayPal account.
Where you wish to ship will be determined by your own seller preferences/exclusions. Keep in mind that if you choose to use the eBay Global Shipping Program, or ship directly, you will be responsible to fund any "item not as described" claims with regards to return shipping costs from the international location back to the US unless you wish simply to refund and let the buyer keep the product for free.
Only you can determine if the rewards for international selling is worth the occasional risks. Good luck to you.

Thank you so much couple of months ago due to our situation I started thinking about selling on ebay a spark by a friend since I have done nothing but trying to figure this out. I should have picked becoming a brain surgeon the more answers I find the more questions pile up. But thank you so much for the prompt reply

It’s a good idea to sell within the US for a while before selling internationally.
It looks like you have opened a store? When you first start out selling you will have a selling limit and it takes time to increase it. Until then, you will have enough free listings per month without paying for a store.

I've got 1600+ feedback. Been on ebay since the 1990's. Have an antique object just made for a Spanish collector. How do I list it in Spain? thank you
