Selling in Portugal

Good evening everyone.

I live in Portugal.

I started selling on ebay.co.uk, then on ebay.de, but now I can't sell there anymore because my account is restricted. I don't have a tax numbers in United Kingdom and Germany to continue my business there.

But, I have all the documents in Portugal and I want to start my business again. However, I am immediately redirected to ebay.com, which lists US Postal couriers. Are there any sellers here who sell in Portugal? Please explain how to set up postal delivery.

The eBay Portugal site is not a full stand alone eBay site it's just a subdomain of eBay.com

You need to list on .com and select "Shipping From Outside The US" and generic shipping services (economy, standard or express) you are restricted to Flat Rate shipping, calculated shipping will not work

You need to provide the VAT registration number that you received where you live, in Portugal. Once you have provided that on your account, you should be able to sell on any eBay site you want to.

You can continue to sell on eBay UK, or eBay Germany, if that's where your target customers are. You don't need to sell on an eBay site where you live, or where your business is registered.

If there was another reason why you were restricted, you will need to deal with that as well.
