The standard FVF is 12.9%.  Use your calculator on your phone.

It appears you haven't sold anything in over a year.  If and when your card sells, ebay will retain payment for 30 days to ensure the transaction went successfully and positive.  If you haven't sold anything in over 3 months, you are considered a new seller so to speak.

This is a pretty pricey item so please keep your eyes wide for scammers.  You may also want to consider returns if there's a problem.  No returns does not mean no refunds.  It's Ebay's money back guarantee:

Good luck.

Please bear in mind that the final value fee of 12.9% will be charged on the item price, the shipping and the state sales tax, if applicable.

And perhaps you will want to do a fast review of the seller information just in case things have changed a little since you sold last.

Have you connected yourself to Managed Payments?

Keep in mind also the eBay seller's mantra:  Don't list anything that you can't afford to lose.

If you have to ask that question, you really shouldn't be selling an item that expensive on eBay.  Disaster awaits.

You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. We must be cautious.

It depends if you are just talking about the eBay net or your actual net or loss. What did you pay for the card, how much did it cost you to ship and insure it, what income tax bracket (federal and state) are you in. The eBay net is one thing your actual net, or loss, is another.

All of this of course is dependent on nothing going wrong with the sale. No INR, NAD, chargeback, etc.

You need to "estimate" Sales Tax as it would be a variable percentage.

(usually between 5.5% and 9.0%) depending on the location of the buyer.

Then why does basic store say fees are 5% of total sale, am I missing something? Thanks

You can not figure out exactly until you know where it is being shipped. New ebay policy set that up. 🙄 If you are a new seller, do not list expensive stuff like that to start. New sellers are scam magnets.  Even seasoned sellers get ripped off sometimes. Do not sell what you can  not afford to lose.

You are missing two things: (1) OP doesn't have a Store subscription and (2) the rate is 5% for NFTs, NOT for actual cards.

But the FVF rate is lower for Basic store than for non-stores on real cards, so the seller should crunch the numbers to see whether a Basic store would be a good investment to save on final value fees.  But at the month-to-month option, not an annual subscription.

It depends on "extras" you may have and on the sales tax the buyer owes.  When I'm doing a quick calculation to see if it's worth my while to list something on eBay, I just figure the eBay take-out as 15%.  That's easy to do in my head and, over the course of the year, it works out about right.   So, if I thought I could get $4600 for something, I'd calculate the eBay fees at about $690.

It doesn't matter as you are far too infrequent a seller to list such an expensive item because, as others have noted, there is a high likelihood you will get scammed as scammers feast upon new sellers like yourself.  The odds are you will net $0 and loose the card as well.

Honestly I don't know.  I don't have a store, so I'm not familiar with what some who has a store has to pay.  Perhaps someone out there could tag on and give us the reason.

Do you know anything about what @collectfest is asking...Thanks in advance.

Well this was interesting lol. Thanks for all the good feedback. I am rethinking my selling strategy for sure now.

It is crazy that the seller really has no protection.
