I have a box of expired hand and toe warmers and I'm wondering if they can still be sold.
I checked a pack that expired in February 2019 and they work perfectly. Does anyone know if they can still be sold?

easy returns. I would advise against it. Out dated products should no be resold.

I'm pretty sure ebay doesn't allow expired items to be sold. If you can't sell them, and if they still work, homeless people need these during the winter months.
Good luck!

I would list them "as is" saying that they still work. It's just stryofoam bead material, right? Most products like that don't really expire. Its not consumable. The mfg just wants people to toss it out and buy a new one. I would list casually like: expiration marked Feb 2019 - product tested and works fine.

Fantastic idea!!!!! I don't know why so many sellers are interested in selling expired products lately, allowed or not, it is a negative waiting to happen.

Listing an item "as is" does not preclude the buyer from filing a SNAD request--and winning--based on the expiration date.

Everyone spent their isolation time cleaning out closets, dresser drawers, storage units, etc. Now they're ready to sell all that expired junk to other people.

My advice is do not list
this just screams INAD returns

I feel like that is the type of item you should sell locally and for like 90% off normal price

eBay is getting to be the town dump!!!!!! It probably has something to do with having 50K free listings if you join MP. What are we going to do when China jumps on this "expired" bandwagon????

They already cornered the "New Antique" market ... why not the "Fresh Expired" one, too 😉
I have always thought that free listings mean more junk. There's no 'pain' involved in throwing something at the wall to see if it sticks. Sellers that have no skin in the game just clog up the works.

As exemplified by this thread and a number of others on the topic, one doesn't have to be from China to consider selling expired products.

Sure you should be able to sell them. Just note so in the description. There are tons of expired items on eBay such as ink cartridges.

Not really. There are many expired ink cartridges on eBay and always have been.

I guess all the expired ink cartridge sellers are wrong. There are tons of them on eBay and always have been.
