Are any of you selling ebooks on here or know anything about it? I have 8-9 ebooks that I published on Amazon for a few years, all fiction. I've temporarily taken them down--unpublished them--until my right arm heals enough for me to type again & get more books written in the series. They did very well for a long time but then sales fell to almost nothing with Kindle because I wasn't cranking out fresh content. Right now I'm planning to have them all rebranded with fresh new covers & republish when I'm able to finish a new book for each series. In the meantime, since I really need money, I thought it might not be a bad idea to sell them here.
The thing is that it's clear as mud to me how to go about it. What I've read said that unless you have permission from eBay to sell ebooks that you own, you can't list in the Books category, only in Other. But nowhere can I find anything that tells me how to get that permission. ??? I called & stayed on hold forever & got an email telling me that I can only publish in Other, which conflicts with what I've read. I have grave doubts that listing ebooks in Other would net many sales.

Don't wait for your arm to heal. The voice activated programs are really good nowadays. You can narrate your text. It'll be imperfect but you can edit it manually later.

You might try contacting the ebay employees on Ebay for Business on Facebook.......READ THE RULES.....and ask for a private mail consultation.

Thanks. I've tried talk to text & actually invested in Dragon. But my Southern accent almost gave it a nervous breakdown. lol Also, there are some people who can't "talk write" a book & unfortunately I'm one of them.
Those speech recognition programs need to be trained - before I finally quit the field (tech editor) I was reduced to editing speech recognition files. I could have just transcribed and copy-edited the stuff faster - it was pretty bad. And yeah - I can't 'talk write' either - I have to see the words on the page, but if you've got some drafts already worked up, and you'll be down for quite a while with your arm, it might be worth trying to train that program you have with your existing manuscripts.

In the policy about digital items, there is an email address there somewhere.
I don't remember exactly where I found it, but it's there.
Send a message to that email and they'll get back with you in a few days.

Thanks I'll look for it.
Good luck.
When I was looking into it, it took me awhile to find it.

You can list the ebooks since you are the author as a classified listing. Start with the category of everything else and a fixed price listing.
Draw back is its 9.95 a month. There are no sellers fees and buyers can't file an item not received case
I have a link that has more info on my pc. On my cell phone right now
If you want more info let me know
