Selling an item eBay won’t let the buyer send payment

I’ve tried posting these Gucci slides and when someone tries to send payment eBay won’t let them process my item to be bought. Is there anyway you guys could look into this issue

Are you sure they are having problems paying or are they just saying that so they can get your Pay Pal email so they can send you a fake email saying you've been paid.

Are they getting any error message?

Have a great day.

You are more likely being scammed and they want your paypal address and will then send you a fake notice you were paid.  New sellers with high end items are targets.

NEVER TEXT BUYERS

hello

you look like a new seller and right now, fraud  / scams are rampant for those new at selling.

Keep asking questions in posts, but I agree with kensgiftshop post.

You've reached a member discussion board, not eBay.

You've already read the replies suggesting this may be a scam, so I won't repeat that warning. I'll just offer a few remarks:

  • Do not EVER contact another member outside of the eBay messaging system. It's a policy violation and is there to protect sellers and buyers from scams.
  • If a buyer has messaged you through the eBay messaging system stating they're having a problem paying, tell them to contact eBay customer support. If it's not a scam, it's usually a problem on the buyer's end, not a problem with eBay's checkout system. If that's the case, you can't help--the buyer will have to get help from eBay themselves.
  • Your member id stats on this account show that you're a very new, inexperienced seller. I see from your "sold listings" that you've already had a number of moderately high-dollar transactions, but it's, frankly, not a great idea for you to be selling items as expensive as your current listings. Your inexperience coupled with the types of items you're selling make you a huge target for scams. Judging by this post, you are nowhere familiar enough with the  policies, procedures, or pitfalls that make up the obstacle course of eBay selling. It's more that just knowing how to create and upload a listing. So much more . . .

Well that is good for you because anyone who is buying Gucci slides and can't pay for them with a click is someone who you don't want to sell to.

Should you be having any doubts about the advice you have received, just do a search for scams in the past week or month or 6 months or year or 3 years.  You  will find many, many examples of the 'please text me/please help me I can't pay scam'.  As a new seller, you have a target on your back that can be seen from space.  Take heed.

Not saying 'NO' doesn't mean 'YES'.

Yeah it's been really bad lately, sadly quite a few keep falling for it too.
