Selling abroad

Hello,

 I don't live in US but I plan to open a merchant account and sell products on ebay.com. I know that for private accounts you need to get 10 comments and wait 90 days to be able to sell overseas. Does the same rule apply to company accounts?

If I am reading clearly, this is not correct ... because, eBay has business accounts.

OP, I have both personal and business accounts on eBay, and the only restriction advantage that I noted with a business account is that selling levels are initially higher than for a personal account (at least, for a US-based business account), but other restrictions were in place.  You could always contact eBay Customer Service to get limits removed/relaxed.

If you are wanting to sell a broad, I reckon the first question is what type of broad are you looking to sell?  😄

The reason I made a distinction on "merchant" account is that the EU has laws which govern business accounts.......and, as I understand it, rules may NOT be the same as for US business account.  THAT is the reason I advised the Poster to ask on local boards.......UK, Germany, etc.....  Those sellers will have a much better understanding of how things work and can give more precise/accurate information about selling from Europe to the US than we US sellers can.
