Selling a $300 Nascar Racing Experience Code

Bought my dad a racing experience worth $300 and he can't use it.  Want to sell it, but trying to figure out how to safeguard against someone getting it, redeeming the code, then claiming I sold them a bad code.

Re: Selling a $300 Nascar Racing Experience Code

Did you look to see if anyone else has listed such a code on ebay?

It sounds like a losing play to me.  My family always hand wrote a "coupon" on a poster or colored craft paper in lieu of risking that the recipient would want to do or maybe wouldn't have the time to do the activity.

This includes deep sea fishing trips, skydiving, wine tasting, hot air balloon days while wine tasting, a day at the water slides, rock climbing, a BBQ beach day with a trash picker-upper and yes, hot laps at their favorite Nascar track.

lol - "Hand wrote"?   I don't speak this way but I am listening to country hits on Pandora at the moment.

Re: Selling a $300 Nascar Racing Experience Code

No matter where you sell it online or offline, if you take a reversible form of payment like Paypal or a credit or debit card, there is NOTHING you can do to stop someone from buying the code, redeeming it and then filing a claim saying you send them a bad code.

Sell it locally for CASH in hand - they hand you the cash, you give them the code.

The easier you are to offend the easier you are to control.

Is the code transferrable? Sell it locally and good luck.

Re: Selling a $300 Nascar Racing Experience Code

you have no seller protection  whatsoever on ebay  if you sell a code here.   you will have to refund  and the code will be gone to a new home  if they file a case
