Why would you "refuse" to send a compiled version? Can't you send a compiled version *and* the source code?
Even if there is no issue with eBay policy, I also agree that this is a SNAD waiting to happen.

Ok, so they have to have more than a bit of a knowledge of programming in general.
Then,
you're going to include a copy of the source code?
I've dabbled in C++ and Windows MFC back in my day...
I'd feel certain anyone getting that source code, is simply going to become your competitor .. benefitting from all your hard work.
