I got this email from ebay "Upon evaluation of your recent transactions, we noticed that the INR% (item not received rate) of your eBay account is "extremely bad" level. Pursuant to our eBay user agreement and eBay policies, we regret to inform you that your eBay account will be restricted."
Can any please tell me is my account permanently suspended or is there any chance to get my account back?

@sharp.shooter.ser , @istanbul.tesbih , @ckimodog the question is, how ebay will compensate the genuine sellers (top rated like you or emerging like me) who are paying the store fee, doing give aways or promotions to keep the store running, fully refunding to the buyers who may or may not have received the items, bearing losses over losses in the hope of getting profits some day. Where is seller protection for the items sold to UK buyers. On one hand the ebay wants the sellers to offer lowest possible shipping costs, and on the other hand restricts sellers' accounts because postal service of some country is not interested at all in updating tracking information.

I have got Inr restricted to all Canada,US,GERMANY AND UK --i have 3 Inr from 465 transactions -- i have asked CS for inform me which exactly cases affect my INR metrick for appeal-which this 3 cases  ,they dont have any answer -i didnt receive any answer ,thej just told me that i havent Inr cases affected my metrics ,they told me i can appeal after 30 days but didnt tell me which cases i need to appeal))) I have 95% cases closed inmf or refunded when i still right in case -most of cases is Unlclimed parcels which was appealed successfully - I completely cant understand whats happening with ebay((

You may have some incorrect information.  Ebay does not have to "compensate" you.

 

It isn't Ebay that wants you to charge the lowest possible shipping to the buyer, that is typically your buyer that wants that.  We as sellers need to charge whatever it is we need to so that costs are covered.  I've been an active seller on Ebay for many years and I have never had them ask me to lower my shipping charges.

 

I understand you are upset with Ebay and I would be too.  Seller protection is very specific when it comes to items getting shipped.  As a seller to be protected you have to have tracking that shows the item was delivered.  If you don't have that, there is no seller protection on this specific thing.

I don't think they were talking about appealing the INRs, but appealing your restriction.  

 

The outcome of an INR does not matter for what is happening here.  It is the mere fact one was opened, period.  So don't consider the outcome.  Look at your Service Metrics number and see how many total INRs you have had.

Unfortunately eBay customer service doesn't give any details. They just restricted the account. But they don't give a reason. This is really interesting and very silly. They do not write anything in the e-mail they sent, there is no detail. They say they can't share details for community safety. Even if my eBay account is opened, I no longer intend to sell on eBay. I will continue to sell on my own website and on Etsy. eBay is a truly unreliable platform. It is not transparent and objective. My advice is that no eBay seller should build your business on eBay alone. Do not trust Ebay. 13 years account, 577 fully positive positive feedback. Despite this, they blocked my account and they can't say why.

It is highly likely that is it NOT Customer Service restricting all of these accounts.  Stuff like this is usually handled by a separate team.

It does appear that since you hijacked this thread the OP has not participated.  Now there is no way for us to know that if you hadn't done that if they would have participated in the first place.  But really you should have started your own thread as you had so much to offer in your multiple posts.  I just wish the OP would come back so we can see how they are doing as well.

You can't call Ebay, as has previously been explained.  I've posted this before on this thread, but I don't mind doing it again, here are your choices.

 

I would suggest that you contact Ebay for Business on Facebook or Twitter for the better trained CSRs.

Here are your options for contacting Ebay Customer Service.  Please be aware that for social media CS, you send them a Private Message and briefly explain what your problem or issue is.  Feel free to leave your Name, address, phone number and/or your email address in this message.  It is private and secure and it may help to speed up the response for you.

Your options will be on the left.  If you use the link below you can only get to the Automated Assistant or Chat box type AGENT in the box and hit enter. I am Above Standard and has 900 listing ended by Ebay , due INR new Ebay "evaluation" . 97 % positive, 0.14 % defect rate. 4 yrs on Ebay and never met such crucial seller  flags.

 I ve INR in September by Customers :

 1 " I forgot I moved so " -Customer cancelled order calling UPS and said "he moved" but opened INR against me- I step in and  refund anyway in request . INR counted

 2 Customer order was delivered, ebY tracink history showed it , though he opened case INR since package left in mail room locker not his apartment

- I step in and  refund anyway in request - INR counted

 3 Order was delivered by Fedex -Customer opened INR - case was closed in my favour -INR counted!

4 Customer irder was delaying -reach him and asked whether he wants one and we reimburse  him 20 usd late delivery or we cancel delivery, Customer replied OK -wait and reimburse 20 refund -once item was out of Delivery he opened Not recieved )- next day package delivered Ebay closed in my favour - INR counted

 So this INRs of Customers where packages were delivered or Customers refused ones  changing mind counted agains seller...

 I ve contacted Ebay ans asked review thise cases they responded " you as seller should take care Customers not even get idea to open request"...

 What is that ? Ebay has registered a lot of buyers as on positive mind as misusing Ebay policy

 What's going on? How to reinstate account and what measures have we taken to "?

 

 Ebay message:

Upon evaluation of your recent transactions, it comes to our attention that the INR% (item not received rate) of your eBay account is high compared to other eBay sellers. Pursuant to our User Agreement, we regret to inform you that your selling permission of [Australia, the United Kingdom, Germany, the United States or Canada] corridor(delivery country) will be blocked. You cannot list items on [eBay.com.au; ebay.co.uk; eBay.de; eBay.com and eBay.ca] or select [Australia, the United Kingdom, Germany, the United States or Canada] as your shipping location.

 

 

 

I can surely understand that you are putting efforts on your business here on eBay. How was it ended? Did you solved the issue? My account suspended due INR hight , In September had few cases opened by customers. 1 Customer order delivered but he "moved other address" -I ve to retun the package by own cost and refund customer. Counted as INR. 2 Item was delivered but carrier could not reach customer apartment, left package ito locker of residential. Customer opened INR) Tracking shows delivered. -Refund and return my item by own cost. Counted as INR. 3 and 4th INR items were delivered - customers opened not recieved-requests closed in my favour.Counted INR against me either. Ebay ended my 900 lisings- could not list and sell in UK, US and send me messege that " suspended on time being due Higher INR than peers... Contacted suppirt they respond on hold , other Ebay suuport said I may not sell anymore on Ebay. That's really confusing as I ve 97% positive, and 0.14% defects only.

 Did you solve that issue? If yes How?

My account was also restricted 3 months ago due to high INR rate. It was a 13 year old account and had 578 100% positive feedback. There were only 2 cases of INR in 105 transactions in my account. These packages have already been delivered. One of them was new to ebay and admitted that he had opened an INR file by mistake. But still INR was counted. My account is still limited and has not been opened. This is really ridiculous and not fair. EBay is losing good sellers. There are always malicious customers, novice customers, crazy customers on Ebay and there will always be customers. Sellers should not be punished for the misbehavior of these customers.
