Hello. I have a listings limit of 700 items. I needed to create a listing with variations of color. However, when I first listed my 6 products with a total 475 items, I did each color individually since I couldn't figure out how to do variations. I've since solved that and created a draft with the variations, but the issue is, I can't use it because it exceeds my selling limit since I already have the individual listings. My question is, if I delete the active individual listings in favor of the variations listing, will the listing limit reset to 700?
Thank you for any help.

I guess the other thing I could do is just reduce the quantity of items for each color in my variations draft. Then delete the active listings and see what happens.

No, it doesn't reset your limits.
Once they are listed, it counts.

You can ask for an increase every 30 days. You've been on ebay over 20 years. I would think they would grant you the increase. Give it a shot! PS Love your pillows! Hand made no doubt.
Happy Holidays

There are also item limits. Back in the day when I was bumping the limits, I reduced the quantities of the multi quantity listings and then I could list more items.

Come to think into it more, I believe I reduced the quantities to gain more dollar amount to list....

15 items sold with (o) in the last 90 days may not have much push to get a limit increase

I ended up reducing the quantity on my new variations to get it published, then just removed the original listings and updated my quantities on the new listing. I didn't have any views yet so everything should be good, now, and I only have the one listing.
And I am indeed unable to get an increase because I don't have a lot of sales under my belt even though I've had an account for a number of years. But it's fine for now.
Thanks for all the responses.
