Hi, I posted something recently and someone has just purchased it. PayPal is currently holding the money but I am scared to send it because the buyer has 0 reviews. What do I do?

I welcome sales from any buyer, including '0s'... we were all a '0' at one time. Just follow the rules for any buyer... stay within eBay's guidelines. Good luck!

Hi, no need to worry now. Once the sale is done, you have an obligation to ship. The time to assess your risk tolerance is prior to listing the item. Have you double checked to see the buyer remittance is in your PayPal account? If the item and shipping are for $750 or more, you need to ship with signature confirmation. Since this is an expensive item, you may want to consider shipping insurance to protect your interests. Ebay offers very little in seller protections, so you need to guard your own.
Has the buyer asked for your cell number or PayPal email address? Those are big red flags that you are dealing with a scammer.
But if everything looks in order, ship your item. You cannot tell if a buyer is a scammer based only on the feedback score. It is the buyer’s behavior that will tip you off. Ebay has been advertising and the pandemic is driving more people to online shopping. These folks will all have 0 feedback scores but are legit.
Good luck and congrats on your sale!!

If you log into the ebay web site under your selling account it should tell you if you need to ship anything.
If so, you need to ship.

You can't go by feedback numbers. I had the worst trouble with a buyer/seller that had shooting star level feedback.
