Just sell stuff that you no longer use around your house. Don't spend any money on inventory until you get a hang of how to sell on eBay and make sure you understand every fee on this platform prior to selling. Do your research, watch the countless youtube videos that are our their and DO NOT list high ticket items unless you want to risk getting scammed or at least until you have 50-100 feedback from selling. Just sell stuff around the house that you already own and maybe no longer need or use then AFTER you've don't all of your research and educated yourself on the platform and everything about it, how to make a good title, keywords, shipping policies, return polices etc... then MAYBE start going out and purchasing items to sell. Last but not least, don't sell anything that you aren't willing to lose. No matter what platform you sell on, their will always be scammers so please just be careful. Just please make sure you learn every single thing about the platform and how to navigate it prior to selling, you'll thank you future self. Don't forget sales will always be up and down, you will very rarely have the same amount of sales every single day 365 days per year. If you want consistent traffic and consistent sales then you need to be consistent yourself. If you have a really good day one day and the next 2 are slow, don't get hung up on it, slow days happen. Don't judge your sales on a day to day or even week to week or month to month otherwise you will drive yourself nuts. Good luck.

You've already had items listed for a while so I assume you have decided to list what you feel comfortable selling.

What ever applies to the item you are selling. If you are selling clothing, the category would be clothing, shoes, etc. If you are selling sports trading cards, it would be under the sports trading cards category. Pretty simple. You may want to rethink some of your prices. I bought 8 planters from another site for under $6. Same size, etc. $59 is a bit excessive. Good luck with sales.
