Can anyone shed some light on this problem?

Hi @hioctane62, we have gotten this over to our tech teams as a part of their investigation. All of the members who have reported issues on the Community Boards are included in this report. We will work to get this resolved as soon as possible and if you see any changes, definitely let us know!

@Anonymous- Shouldn't this page show service disruption under image services?

Paid 5k last month in seller fees and all my photos taken personally(Stock images used are unaffected) are only showing thumbs.  When clicking on listing, Pic area is blank and states seller hasn't uploaded any photos.  Been on hold with "dedicated" anchor support for some time now and nothing.  Maybe if I can turn my 50k month in sales into 100K, I can get someone to talk to me and tell me why the site, the only thing really vital to their business(that and sellers/buyers of course), isn't functioning.  Pathetic.  I wouldn't expect this from a startup, much less a website thats been alive for over 20 years.

Thanks for the heads up.

My recently relisted items have the same problem.

An answer whether this is going to be recoverable from an eBay rep would be good.

Retaking photos for a few listings like myself can be done but for those with mega listings I cannot imagine.

I will also be manually ending and relisting.

I appreciate knowing about this. Thank you everyone for posting.

I picked a couple of tpopnyc's listings and I see all the photos.

Which is good if the buyer's can still see them.

Need to know what is happening with the seller not seeing their own photos.

Hi @lovtaco0, we typically do not change the system status until a certain number of reports have been received to rule out any local issues. Currently we have received a very low number of reports, but are keeping a close eye on this to ensure that it is thoroughly investigated and that appropriate notifications are provided to the Community.

Trinton, since the thumbnails on the listings pages are showing a large number of sellers may not know they are impacted. You have to open a listing to be aware of the problem which is probably skewing the number of reports you're receiving. For what it's worth.

I seldom gripe about glitches since most are fixed before very many even notice, but this one is a biggie.

I had a couple of people check mine, one on mobile (the mobile app is another subject...wowser) and one on PC. They can only see one photo on my GTC listings that relisted since last evening.

Since I doubt that all of us are in the same locality, maybe eBay should be able to figure out that THERE IS A PROBLEM.

I didn't notice this until a customer messaged me last night around 9:00EST, complaining that "I'm not going to buy an item I can't see, so please upload some pictures".

I was super confused, so I checked my listings and found that only the newest auto-relisted good-till-canclled listings were affected. I had to reupload each picture for many listings, and I'm still doing so.

Looking at my oldest affected listing, I think the issue started the day before yesterday.

I called eBay at the time of realization, and the rep said that they would report it, and that they hope it's not a widespread issue. Knowing eBay, I didn't have much faith in it being a little glitch that would go away in a few hours.

I called eBay to add myself to the ticket and asked them a few questions.

Q. I re-uploaded photos to several of my affected listings. What will happen when the problem is fixed?

A. They will be overridden and revert back to the photos that were in place before this happened.

(First she said it will revert photos at time of listing, but then I asked what if the listing was edited to change the photos before this happened, then she said it will revert back to the photos at the time of the last edit before this problem took effect.)

Q. How many sellers are affected?

A. Every rep is getting reports and it appears to be a site-wide issue.

Q. Do you have an estimated time frame for a fix?
A. We expect to send out an e-mail update to affected sellers within 24 hours when the problem is resolved.

I can confirm that this is still happening with a listing that rolled over about 10 minutes ago.

To recap: all of my GTC listings that were reposted automatically within the last approx 24 hours (5 PM eastern right now) had the images deleted with the exception of the thumbnail.

I had a collective total of 36 listings affected by this glitch before I noticed it and checked the boards here. I ended and manually relisted any pending auctions that were scheduled to end within the next day in an attempt to "damage control" the situation.

I will be expecting a credit on my eBay seller fees to compensate me for the approx 2 hours of my life that was wasted this afternoon FIXING my listings by digging up cached versions of the pages through google and uploading my images back into the listings BY HAND. If somebody could get back with me regarding this, it would be approciated. I am not going to fork over $1100 in seller fees for last month and let this one ride. Completely unacceptable. They can't even acknowledge there's a problem because "not enough people have reported it" despite multiple folks here POINTING IT OUT. Most of the sellers who are affected might not even realize they've been plagued with this nonsense.
