Seller viewer and watcher numbers

eBay must randomly juggle numbers for viewers and watchers. How can the number of viewers decrease on an existing listing? Did someone remove their view?

The views don't decreasing.

your listing that’s been active for more than 30 days, the view count is a rolling 30-day count which can increase or decrease. This rolling 30-day count is different from a cumulative lifetime view count, which only increases.

What @aqeeqsouq said, it's a rolling number.  So old ones fall off the back end, so to speak, which looks like a decrease if it's not offset by new views that day.

Re: Seller viewer and watcher numbers

It’s only a 30 day turnaround so if 30 days passed with views they will fall off, another good reason to end and sell similar

As others have explained, "Views" shows the total number of views for the past 30 days (30 day running total). The total can increase or decrease each day depending on the total views over the past 30 days.

Click on the total views. You can change counts to 7-day, 30-day, 90-day, 6-month, 1-year or 2-year running totals. A daily graph of the running total shown as Organic, Promoted, and Total traffic is displayed.
