Doing some research.
Basically admiring a seller and snooping around trying to figure out how I can sell that much.
Checking out sellers SOLD items and I run across several items that were sold around mid February.
Same items were sold again mid March.
These are used, unique auto parts, with the same VIN number and pics in both listings.
No seller could have two of these that were identical.
Is there a way to "end" a listing and it show up in your SOLD list?

Is it possible they were returned? As soon as the seller indicates the item has been returned eBay will relist it automatically.
It will still show as having been sold, and then will show as sold again when it sells again.

This is possible.
But OUCH!! One item was $600 and shipping would have been around $150ish one way
The other item was $5000 and shipping would have been $350ish one way, with another $350 coming back.

Oof! Well at least they resold, and the seller does get all of their fees back on the return.

An item that was shown as sold?
That's not proof that it was ever paid for.
Every seller gets a non payer or sport bidder on occasion.

Maybe the buyer never paid or maybe the buyer asked for a cancellation or it was returned to the seller for one reason or another.

That's definitely another possibility.

The return thing seems to fit best.
This seller seems to be On Top of Things fairly good. Given the time in between the sales, I don't think it was a cancellation or a non-payment. Real close to 30 days

You don't know that. None of us do. It could have just as easily been a cancellation for none payment. Lots of seller way far past the time they can file one.
Not sure it is important, but it could be any number of reasons. Without asking the Seller, we can't determine the correct answer, just options.

As already mentioned, could be returned, not paid for, or cancelled.
