Hi All,
I sold some books and received an email this morning telling me about the sale and the other email telling me that the buyer had paid. (my requirement for buy it now)
I packaged them up and sent my usual thank you note to seller telling her the books would go out tomorrow.
Seller responds, "That's great! Thanks. I'm just getting ready to pay."
Is this a glitch? Or should I be doing something to protect myself? Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't worry about it. The buyer may have just been in need of her morning caffeine fix.
It's possible she didn't even read your message in full and may be thinking of something else she bought and hasn't yet paid for.
Alternately, if it was an IPR, she might not even realize she paid already if she had her eBay/Paypal settings set up to pay when committing to buy. Some buyers don't realize they've already paid on an IPR. I know, crazy, right?
Truly, I'd just ship as usual.

Don't depend on emails, always check your Pay Pal account to make sure payment is there and it's completed.
Especially these days as my notification bell just stopped showing that the item I packaged and sent this morning was sold. I've been going into paypal and rechecking payment to be sure. This has been going on for almost a week now.

Thanks. I always do that first and everything looked ok which was why her email confused me.
