You buy a custom made item and it has specific description/instructions on measuring. You contact the seller and give them the measurements. But they keep coming back and telling the buyer that the measurements are wrong. Umm how can they be wrong when its custom made? Have you ever had a problem like this and at one point did you almost give up? Its happened a few times before too. Hmm maybe other people might be working for the seller and have access to their account. Which might make it confusing.

What are the directions for measuring?
What are you sending the seller?

Be very certain that you are providing exactly what the seller is asking for. Perhaps there is a communication issue here, and a misunderstanding on your part or the seller's. It may be that the measurements you request are simply not possible.
I bought a custom item here and was very specific. I bought the version on a particular listing, and checked to be sure that the picture I was sending to be imprinted on the item was acceptable. I was told it was, twice.
Item came and was a different item, with a poor quality, orange-y image.
So I hade complete confirmation of every step and it still didn't work out.
Your call.

When you're in a transaction with an eBay seller, his phone # is available to you through eBay. Why not get the number and call him to find out what measurements he needs that you haven't given?

Just message the seller and ask exactly what is wrong. That way, you have a record of what was said should it be needed as Ebay CS can read those messages. Ebay recommends using the message system to avoid he said/she said situations, and if you have ever been in situations where something was claimed that you never said, you would see how valuable the messages may be.
