I bought a after market Android head unit a few months back and it supposedly had 2 gig of RAM. After noticing that it was running pretty slowly, I tried running some tests but found that the head unit had all these applications which can test the specs of the device blocked! (Big red flag). I finally was able to get one and I confirmed that the device only had 1 gig of RAM.
I contacted eBay and they told me to work it out with the seller but the seller isn't doing anything. What should I do?
I already paid to have it installed in my car. I think I should he refunded, since the item was incorrectly labeled (which is apparently very common for these head units).
How should I proceed? Any advice is appreciated

Per eBay's Money Back Guarantee, you had 30 days after receipt to open an item not as described case with eBay.
After that, your only option is to contact your payment source.
And whoever you contacted at eBay should have told you that.

As soh.maryl noted you are probably well beyond the timeline for filing any type of eBay claim and since the seller is not responding I would do as suggested and open a NAD chargeback with your CC company or whatever source you used to pay for the item. The timelines for CC companies allowing chargebacks varies but with most you have at least 90 days some are a lot longer.

Thank you so much for the response.
Is there any other recourse for me that you can suggest? I contacted my CC a while ago and they told me they can't do anything since this wasn't covered by their fraud coverage

If you are past 30 days from the delivery date, eBay will not help you. If your credit card issuer declined to assist, you are at the mercy of the seller or SOL.
