Ebay recently changed to the new seller hub on ebay.ca.
I used to have to use ebay.ca to put in my adjusted shipping and HST (sales taxes in Canada), then click save and go to ebay.com to send the invoice where the correct shipping fee and HST showed. I sell in US dollars since 1997.
So since that workaround, which was changed earlier this year no longer works when I put in the shipping and HST nothing is saved and it sends an invoice with no taxes, which can cost me a lot.
I have gone to the settings to put in HST on all provinces, as it is different for each, saved but it only says it will work once an item is updated or new I believe.
So, now when someone buys an item in US dollars (all my items), in Ontario Canada, I have to add in the correct HST onto the shipping fee to collect the proper amount.
Half my sales are outside the country so not a problem, stamps and covers.
Ebay said they have no idea, at least the guy I spoke with, absolutely no help in moving the problem up the ladder other than we will send a note, big deal.
Any ideas?
