So, I have (had) 100% feedback for 1200+ transactions. I made one, ONE listing error and a buyer had the ability with his non-communicating feedback to drop me to 97.5%!!!! Really eBay??? How is that even determined??? I listed by MISTKE two available because it was a pair. I did not realize that I had done that. The item sold and I suddenly realized what I did. I immediately contacted the buyer and refunded him with what exactly happened. So far he is refusing to update the negative feedback after begging him. Great guy, NOT. I completely understand the reason for feedback, as in the seller or buyer got screwed over. That’s NOT what happened in this case!
Thanks eBay way to have my back!

Your anger should be placed with an antiquated half baked idea of a grading system. There are so many flaws in it from an analytic point of view it should of been removed years ago. It's an eBay system not the buyer you failed to satisfy.

Disagree.
Though the feedback system is far from perfect and most certainly not balanced, it serves a very important purpose.
If a sellers account has been compromised or they're not holding up their end properly, the recent feedback is an immediate tip off to steer clear for buyers. This saves lots of time and money for both buyers and for ebay.
Also you can get a general idea of how a seller handles themselves and what type of attitude they have when you read their responses to random negative remarks.
