Sell limit for new sellers for computer desktop

Hello,

I am a new seller starting using eBay today. I am based in Texas, USA. I have a computer desktop that I want to start a bidding at $1,300 ( It's almost a brand new machine I purchased it for $2,500 a year ago and barely use it). After finalizing the listing, it errored out on me saying that I cannot sell due to dollar amount limit.

What option do I have rather than waiting for a month?

eBay charges their fee on the item price plus shipping cost. But I don't see a single one of your listings where that would work out to 28% of the item price. Feel free to post the details for one of your listings.

Note: postage isn't an eBay fee, so if you're including that in what you claim eBay is charging you, you're doing it wrong.
