USPS be closed Thursday, Friday, Sunday, Monday.
Who all has their "where's my item explanation" all typed up and carefully worded.
So you can just copy and paste it in a message to your buyers.
That won't understand anyway.

Better check again..............USPS is ONLY closed on Thurs.......
If you are trying to be funny.............dangerous thing to do on the boards, as some will read as true and never come back to find out differently...........
I suggest you delete the thread.....

Why would you say that?
The Post Office will only be closed on Thursday for Thanksgiving and for most, Sunday.
Friday and Monday are normal pick up and delivery days.
It's not hard to check for postal holidays. A simple google search would be sufficient.

Not in my town. Only Thursday is an official USPS holiday. Here's the official holiday list, straight from usps.com:
https://about.usps.com/newsroom/events/
ETA: I searched a bit and found that the OP's home town of Hartman, Arkansas has a population of 600 souls and their Post Office's regular weekday hours are just 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Yes, that's no afternoon hours. So I guess it's plausible that with such limited staffing, their local PO will be closed for all those extra days for the holiday. Even Monday?! My advice to the OP is to utilize eBay's "Time away" option or just revise your handling time to reflect the fact that your items sold on Wednesday - Sunday won't go out until Tuesday.

Not True !! False !!
Isn't it against the standards of these community forums to post wrong information?
Here's some info I just blocked and copied from usps.com within the last five minutes:

I just checked that holiday calendar. It lists the holidays in a list, but on my phone, the far right is hidden (which says normal operation on Black Friday and Cyber Monday).
I'm still scratching my head as to why they would even stick those two days on that list.
Still,,, somebody owes me some money! LOL

Check the URL. I bet it's some AI gadget, not the USPS itself.

It may depend on your location and your post office. The regional distribution center that is about 2 miles from my house has the following hours through the Thanksgiving weekend.
