This morning, I`m trying to find an item I sold this month, I searched in my archived orders and the search is not working. All it shows is everything I sold for the entire month that I`ve archived instead of the title of the item I typed in.
A few days ago I was buying an item from a seller, I clicked on their "see other items" from the item page in which I was about to purchase. The result: It showed me the item I was planning to purchase and many other items from OTHER sellers?? Normaly when clicking the "see other items" link it takes you to the specific sellers items. Not this time! This is the second time in a week it`s happened.
To get to my sellers other items I had to click their feedback score/username and click "veiw items for sale". The seller had 25 other items for sale that were not shown to me in my 1st search.
Honestly, I`m shocked I`m selling anything here with all the problems with search latley. These search issues seem intermitent and unpredictable. As a buyer and seller here my attitude worsens daily. I doubt I`m the only one experiencing these issues and am wondering how other buyers and sellers feel about it?

I do not think sorting by title is available in archived pages? You can only sort by the section headers and item title is not a section header nor is it an option to add it.
You should be able to go to your manage all orders page or active items/ sold listing page and use that search feature and bring up the item you are looking for as long as it took place in the last 90 days.
If you have listings in your archived folder then they were removed from your master list under manage all orders and they will not show when you search from the manage all orders page.
I hope that helps?

Actually after looking it does have item title as a search option under the drop down. Not sure why you are having a problem?
I would try the other options I suggested. Maybe the order you are looking for did not get put in the archived orders page or you might also be looking under the wrong month in the archived pages?

@goodluckselling OK. I`m going to play with it a little more and see what I can come up with. It was working fine the other day. I use this search a lot to look for and replace items i`ve sold and I can usually sort backward by title and month for at least 90 days. I`ve tried cleaning cache/cookies etc. but I haven`t tried another browser.

I do not think the archived pages allow you to do a 90 day search? I thought you could only see a specific months orders.
If you need to look back 90 days it would probably be easier to go to your active listings, then sold items (left side bar) and using that search.
Ideally you would use your manage all orders page but you have some orders not in there because you hold them in your archived orders.
Is there a reason why you do this? I have no problem with you doing this I am just trying to figure how it can be helpful to me. I use the manage all orders page all the time to find transactions and I keep all transactions there for this reason.
The only use I have for the archived order pages is it helps me to sort my in state orders that have local sales tax added to them and

The only use I have for the archived order pages is it helps me to sort my in state orders that have local sales tax added to them and
- I can sort my manage all order page to a specific month then
- sort by zip code and go to my zip code area and move those orders to archived,
- then sort by date and
- print out a report that tallies all the info I need for submitting local sales tax for my eBay orders.
- When I am done I move all those orders back to my main manage all orders page.

I archive all my sold items after I print labels and leave feedback. I do it to keep my "manage all orders" page clean. In my archived orders, I can search by item title and by month going back at least 3 months. As you pointed out, archived search is much more limited than the "manage all orders" search option.
I normaly only go to my archived listings to relist something I have a replacment for. For instance, I sold a spider-man #20 last month and just got a spider-man #20 in that I want to list. My ad is already made up. All I have to do is relist it from archived and change the pictures and text to suit the new item. It`s just the way I`ve always done it.
My state tax is very easy. I sell so few in state that I just write the transaction and pertinent info. in a log book. I sell on a very small scale. It`s more of a hobby. I buy more than I sell it seems LOL.
